Cathy Welsby, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia (DAA) is now working here at Terrigal Medical Centre. Cathy completed a Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) in 2002, and has gained a great deal of clinical dietetics experience over the past 14 years working in a number of hospital and health services in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland. Dr Dean has a special interest in working with adolescents and has been seeing young people all over the Central Coast for many years.  She is keen to dedicate her Monday afternoon sessions to young people for comprehensive and confidential assessments including sexual health, psychological problems and general health issues.  A young person can make an appointment (4385 3150) or just drop in to Terrigal Medical Centre.
