Dr Andrew Conroy studied medicine at the Imperial College School of Medicine, University of London. He has worked for over 10 years in ICU and Emergency departments of Hospitals in London, Newcastle, Gosford and Wyong. Andrew has a young family and loves the Central coast. His main interests are paediatrics, acute care and men’s health.

Dr Catherine Palmqvist has returned to work at both Terrigal and Avoca Medical Centres. Dr Palmqvist has had wide experience in general practice, and has recently been enjoying the challenges of rural and remote medicine.

Dr Palmqvist is a graduate of Sydney University and has further degrees in Radiation Therapy and Palliative care. She has an interest in many aspects of GP from the very young to the elderly, with a special interest in Oncology and Palliative Care.

Catherine lives on the Coast with a full family of four busy children.

Dr Christopher Bennett

Dr Bennett is a US trained family practice doctor, with 12 years of US practice experience. He is double board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

He has been practicing on the Central Coast since 2008, when he moved here to be closer to his wife's family. Dr Bennett and his wife have two children. His interests are antenatal medicine, paediatrics and sports medicine. He also has further training in skin cancer screening and advanced skin cancer surgery.

Dr Little has worked at Terrigal since 1980. His special interests are surgery, including large skin cancers and skin grafts, travel medicine and he also runs a busy vasectomy clinic.

Dr Diana Spooner has been working at the Terrigal & Avoca Medical Centres since 2012. Previously she has worked in general practise at Wyoming since 1982. She is interested in general medicine, paediatrics, women's health, antenatal care, dermatology and travel medicine.

Having graduated from Queens University , Belfast in 1999, Geoff completed his hospital training in 2006. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of GPs with Merit in 2007. Since then he has worked as a GP in Northern Ireland, South East Queensland and the Central Coast.

Geoff has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine having undertaken further training with the University of Queensland and the Royal Australian College of GPs. He has a further interest in child health and in particular childhood asthma.

Dr Helen Tongue has been working in general practice for twenty years. She is interested in medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, women's health, antenatal care and child health.

Dr Drewitt-Smith has worked in solo and group practices for the past 20 years. Her special interests are in obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, sexual health, dermatology and palliative care.

Dr Douglas joined the practice in 1990. Her interests lie in family medicine, including women's health, ante-natal care, menopause, paediatrics and men's health.

Dr Roisin Nicholson qualified from the Queens University, Belfast in 2001. She has been working as a GP since 2005 having received distinction from the Royal College of General Practice London. She relocated to Australia from Ireland with her young family in 2012. Her interests are child & women health including antenatal care and family planning. She has further training in implanon & mirena IUD insertion.

Dr Dean has worked in the practice since 1998. Her main interests are child & adolescent health, sexual health, women's health and ante-natal care.

Dr Dean has a special interest in working with adolescents and has been seeing young people all over the Central Coast for many years. She is keen to dedicate her Monday afternoon sessions to young people for comprehensive and confidential assessments including sexual health, psychological problems and general health issues. A young person can make an appointment or just drop in.

Dr Tamara Doughton studied medicine at James Cook University in Townsville graduating in 2006. She has extensive experience in critical care in hospitals throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland. She moved to the Central Coast in 2014 and has been pleasantly surprised at its beauty, friendliness and relaxed atmosphere.
